Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

2 cups white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cherry pie spice

1 (8 ounce) package custard-style whipped topping

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a small mixing bowl , mix melted butter or margarine, white sugar, eggs, vanilla, and cherry pie spice. Stir gently until well blended. Fold in whipped topping. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Cool completely before filling and frost with your favorite cherry ganache.

I followed the recipe exactly making no changes and these were amazing! My husband said this was as close to a real hot dog as he has had. Probably due to the fact that I used a fresh bison steak, not frozen bison. However, I did use a can of extended hot sauce which doubles the heat. Absolutely loved this and will make it again!
