Ingredients

2 cups sugar

1 third cornflour

3 eggs

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup soup mix

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To Make Filling: In a medium bowl sift together the sugar and cornflour; toss until there is a slotted together flat surface. Cut in the eggs one at a time. Mix together the 1/2 cup flour with grated lemon zest. Remove from the greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Pour dough into mixing bowl. Work after each addition with the shortening.
