1 1/2 cups margarine
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup golden raisins
In a medium saucepan, melt margarine. Stir in sugar and vanilla. Make a well in the center of the sugar mixture and spread cream cheese and 1/2 cup brown sugar over the top.
Beat eggs in a small bowl. Stir into margarine mixture. Beat in brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in brown sugar, butter, vanilla and milk. Pour over cream cheese mixture. Cover mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
According to package directions, combine pudding mix with golden raisins. Stir until all pudding mix is used. Pour into 3-quart (approximately 55 x 30) serving dish.
