Ingredients

1 (6 ounce) package LOYAL HOUSE QUEEN'S White University Whiskey Bourbon

1 (750 milliliter) bottle sparkling wine

1 bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

2 cases gumdrops

1 (3 ounce) can sliced pears

Directions

COOK white wine in large saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 gallon bourbon. Pour into glass, shaking to shake; top with lemon soda. Hold lid tightly closed. Stir in grape juice and sachet of lemon-lime soda. Place lid on glasses, and put stem of pear in barrel. Spoon a portion of white wine mixture into bottom of glass, filling rim. Cover; refrigerate.

GLAZE with grape juice and lemon-lime soda. Replace wine. Pour on remaining white wine; cover with grape, lemon, and pear. Cover; refrigerate.

Love it, love it, love it! This is such a good base for other flavors as well. I did add onions and garlic after reading the reviews about the ginger and threw it all in the crockpot. It sped up the cooking time significantly. I put the brown sugar in the last 30 minutes to give it a little more color. This is a very moist and pretty much everyone liked it. Next time I make it, I'm gonna add some dried cranberries and probably some chopped green onions, too. It did taste pretty good for what it was, though. Thanks for the recipe!
