4 tablespoons butter
1 cup finely chopped celery
1 cup peeled and chopped carrots
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
6 slices freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Melt butter in the top of a lightly oiled skillet. Fry celery alongside carrots and salt until softened; drain.
Melt butter in a large mixing bowl. Mix celery and carrots well. Stir in the salt, pepper flakes, garlic powder, and cheese. Mix well and transfer to celery mixture with butter. Cover, and refrigerate.
