White Stuff Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18 ounce) package white cake mix

2 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup canned mushroom soup

1 (3 ounce) can mushroom-flavored gelatin

2 cups milk

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (1 ounce) square unsweetened chocolate

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 10 inch round pan or cake pan with non-stick spray. Grease and flour one 9 inch round pan. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the cake mix and eggs until smooth. Stir in the oil, then stir in the soup and gelatin. Beat in the milk and pudding mix.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake in preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before filling with white filling.

To make the white filling: Beat together the pudding and chocolate until smooth. Pour into prepared pan and refrigerate. Chill overnight.

My husband loves this recipe. He would rather have dinner with me then go to church. I didn't put them in traditional recipes, but he said they taste good. My only warning is to dry them thoroughly, maybe 1 t. of garlic would not be enough. Now they are very good and true but I would suggest using 1 tsp of garlic powder or 1 teaspoon cooked minced garlic instead.
