1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 tablespoons oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons salt
1 (4.5 ounce) can tomato paste
1/3 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 dash paprika
1 (16 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough
Place the ground beef, onion and oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
Add the garlic and the salt, and saute until garlic is tender, about 10 minutes. Mix in tomato paste and water.
Simmer the remaining two minutes.
With a slotted spoon, mash together the dough and vegetable oil. Stuff the center of the beef slices with the meat mixture. Place the biscuit dough into the center of the meat mixture, roll into a sausage about 1/3 inch thick. Roll the sausage in the bread crumbs. Transfer the sausage into the pot.
Place the lid on the pot, and turn heat to medium-low. Simmer the potato and potatoes in the pot about 15 minutes.
Return the biscuits under the pot, and crackle with hot sauce. When the biscuits begin to crackle, flip them over and place in the pot. Pour the hot sauce over the top. Cover with a lid, and cook approximately 2 minutes more.
