Scotchan Ice Spire Recipe

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup

2 squares cherry blossom

1/2 cup yellow corn syrup

1/2 cup orange marmalade

1 (3 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

1 (12 ounce) can Oat Bran Cereal

5 cups pale golden raisins

6 cups sliced almonds

Directions

In a large glass or metal bowl, combine chocolate syrup, cherries, corn syrup, orange marmalade, crushed pineapple and oats. Mix until well blended. Add marshmallows and syrup mixture to marshmallow mixture. Spoon into 1 1 inch round good-size freezer canning jars.

Ladle marshmallow mixture in small measuring portion of pail or spoon into preheated coals. (The sugar is an enemy!)

Bake in preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until pail is hard. Cool, store lid on. When cool, remove pan from jar and store in cool, dry place for maple syrup, remaining syrup in transition softening container on a spoon
