3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Italian-style seasoning
7 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
1 large onion, cut into strips
5 medium fresh mushrooms, sliced
6 green onions, sliced
1 pound lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
In a medium bowl, mix Worcestershire sauce with Italian-style seasoning. Sprinkle bacon strips over skewers. Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute sausage and onion slices in oil until brown.
In a separate medium bowl, combine mushrooms, mushrooms and green onions, pour in butter or margarine and brown. Stir in bacon strips, tomato sauce, pepper sauce and Worcestershire sauce. Pour mixture over beef and sausage; toss to coat. Serve over water.
Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet in the same manner as for broiling, or by coating skewers with olive oil and pouring in barbecue sauce. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
