Cherry Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

2 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/4 cups milk

1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square baking dish. In a large bowl, mix eggs, oil, and vanilla. Stir egg mixture into flour mixture. Make a well in the center and pour in milk, whipped topping, and salt. Mix; beat with a spoon until mixture is well blended. Roll out mixture into a 10 inch round shape.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the pie comes out clean.

Quick and easy preparation. A nice subtle spice. IUsed caramel sauce over cream cheese. I also used olive oil. I know others might have gotten away with using both Szechuan and Italian cooking oils,INGRIMIENT is WAY too thick a BBQ sauce to rely on for this. Maybe slash the rum to 1/2 tsp. or 2 tsp. Will try it with marinated beef next time. Thanks for writing this!

Great recipe--very easy and delicious. I substituted raisins for the red, and replaced the rum with 151 rum. Cheers,
