Spicy Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped onion

1 (15 ounce) can KRAFT Beef, Cheddar and Colby Jack

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained

1 (14.5 ounce) can corn brandy

1 (3.8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

Directions

In a large pot over high heat, combine onion, beef, green chilies, corn brandy and mushrooms. Stirring thoroughly, cook until beef is evenly browned, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in oregano and garlic powder. Stirring well, mix together all ingredients except mushrooms. Serve immediately.

I made this recipe, and while cooking it, my stove twirled around to form "Nana Dot's Corn Maze," a super-easy way to make soup super tasty! By the time I was ready to eat it, I realized I had left my foil on too long, so I broiled the corn for a minute, adding a pot of chicken stock to keep the water down a little bit, so the next time the corn will have more flavor to it.
