6 strawberries
1 fluid ounce lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
2 fluid ounces bittersweet chocolate syrup
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
In a medium saucepan, stir together strawberries, lemon-lime soda and chocolate syrup. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until bubbles begin to burst. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture simmers slightly, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and sprinkling over rows of crusts. Allow to cool completely. Dash lemon frosting over top of crusts and drizzle over crusts. Refrigerate for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Garnish by waving whipped topping in a circle or triangle around top of crusts. Refrigerate for 7 hours (this makes the crusts stand out more) or until set. Refrigerate or freeze for later use, or purchase frozen dessert you can reserve.
