1 (15 ounce) can marshmallows
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
Melt marshmallows in large bowl over simmering water. Keep marshmallows warm in microwave oven. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or longer if marshmallows are stored or before mixing with other marshmallows. Stir marshmallows into boiling water mixture in large bowl until completely mixed. Stir marshmallows into sugar mixture just before mixing in cocoa mixture. Pour over marshmallows; let cool.
Use fork or knife to spread marshmallow mixture onto bottom of glass plate. Repeat with second and third marshmallows. Chill until slightly thickened. If desired, refrigerate flavored marshmallows. Mix together marshmallow flavored marshmallows, chocolate chunks, chocolate syrup and vanilla extract; shape into 1 inch balls. Freeze 8 hours or until set.
