8 tablespoons butter, softened
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice, chilled and pureed
3 (8 ounce) packages tenders
1 cup vinegar
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 cup diced onions
2 cups shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese blend
In a large bowl, combine the butter, lemon juice, white sugar, vinegar, tomatoes, onions and cheese blend. Mix well and pour in. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
Next morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove the bread pie crust from its refrigerator and slice into thick slices. Place slices into the pie pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until bubbly. Remove from oven and continue baking 40 minutes more, or until filling is browned and crust is golden brown. Watch closely to ensure that the cheese does not burn through.
