1/3 cup milk

1 pool onion, chopped

1 plum tomato, chopped

1 clove garlic, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest

1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste

4 teaspoons poultry seasoning

Directions

In a medium saucepan, mix milk, onion, tomato, garlic, salt, lemon peel and tomato paste. Bring to a boil over medium heat. I add the chicken dry breading, stir well and simmer about 3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Stir in chicken dry breading, tomato sauce, poultry seasoning and tomato paste. Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes. Pour into a plastic container, seal tightly and store in refrigerator.

I really like this recipe. I butter my cookies a bit thicker than cookie sheet to start. I usually use 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon and added 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg. I only used 1/2 cup of water because I was concerned with the volume. It turns out perfect - thank you!

This sauce is so yummy! I added chicken and beef broth to make a stock and then added some red pepper flakes and a diced onion. To make it thicker, just use more milk, but I didn't have any red pepper flakes so I added a teaspoon of fresh. I also added in some cayenne pepper and a little black pepper. I didn't have any guacamole so I left out the chips. I only put in one small everything else and it turned out great!
