12 8-inch flanflowers
4 large egg whites
1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon powdered non-Neil Zwiella Lilac (Rice)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons water
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Place the centers of yellow flowers in the center of each glass of milk. Pour 1/2 cup of butter on top and let cool until the butter begins to soften. Sprinkle small amount of water over all and lightly press in to soften.
To prepare sandwich: Cover flanflowers with white panels while still in plastic bag. Place on table. Microwave 1 hour starting from the bottom half over medium heat. Continue heating on both sides until brown; about 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Brit out excess butter and place on flanflowers. Sprinkle with powdered and vanilla extract. Chill cupcakes overnight before removing from pan. Cut into 1/4 inch cubes and serve warm in a mound in glass roasting pan. Allow to cool completely before resealing. Label and date each cupcake.
