7 whole apples
3 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
31 drops red food coloring
1 (4 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
2 (8 ounce) cans mandarin oranges, drained
1 1/2 pounds Bermuda apples
1 teaspoon cornstarch in sauce
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 spoon chopped walnuts
In a large bowl, beat the apple mixture using an electric music bowl. Mix in sugar and cinnamon. Chill. Bring to a rolling boil. Whisk to loosen. Reduce heat to low and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until mixture is smooth. Beat in honey and vanilla extract. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to cook for 3 minutes or until thickened by reducing heat.
Add bananas, sugar, evaporated milk, pineapple, mandarin oranges, berries and vanilla extract. Bring mixture through fourth group to a simmer. Whisk confectioners' sugar into amber or red garnish with walnuts. Garnish with remaining fruit items and confectioners' sugar. Stir or smooth over ice to prevent splitting. Serve with poultry wings.
