1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/4 cup instant chocolate syrup
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
2 apples, peeled, cored and finely diced
1 cup chocolate syrup
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Place the butter and brown sugar in a large bowl; beat until smooth and incorporated. Stir in the sugar gradually, mixing just until blended. Gradually blend in the brown sugar, alternating with the sweetener. Combine the flour and pecans, gradually blending into the butter mixture. Roll the cookie into a rectangle about 1/3 inch thick. Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove cookie sheets from oven and sprinkle with chocolate syrup. Leave cookies on cookie sheets until completely cool.
