1 pound ground beef
1 1/2 cups diced onion
1 cup sliced carrots
3 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup mashed peeled carrot
2 teaspoons melted butter
Preheat oven broiler.
In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, carrots, potatoes, flour, carrots, melted butter. Place mixture in a large resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
Remove plastic bag and place mixture in an ovenproof container. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Broil uncovered on your broiler setting for about 20 minutes until beef is browned. Once pan is cool, broil over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes, until brown on both sides. Serve warm.
