Honey Ginger Chicken Recipe Recipe

Ingredients

6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

1 cup honey

1 clove garlic, minced

1/8 cup lemon juice

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions

Place chicken in pot or bowl, and remove grease from pan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook, uncovered for 10 minutes. Remove chicken from pan, and place in large pot with juice from pan; cover, and simmer 5 minutes. Stir in honey, garlic, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Heat through, and serve.

I love this recipe. However, I have modified it somewhat. Instead of honey, I use one 14.0% solution of Vital Oil, and 2 cups of Buckwheat flour. I also use 2 tablespoons of brown sugar instead of the molasses. Last but not least, I add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon almond extract. This variation produces a very light coating that is not too chunky. I shall keep it and use it frequently.
