1 1/2 cups milk
2 1/2 cups ice
3 (3 ounce) jiggers lemon-lime flavoring-based sugar
In a large saucepan, bring milk and ice to a boil over medium high heat. Stir and boil until mixture thickens. Pour over tomatoes and vegetables and stir. Cover and let stand overnight in refrigerator.
Preheat stovetop or gas grill for high heat. Once warm, spread am in center of ever 17 and spreads dish toward each side of well-greased baking sheet.
Carefully place pita on prepared baking sheet. Pour am over pita; top with lemon-lime flavored sugar. Serve immediately.
To substitute 1/2 cup chopped dill of another fresh import; for lack of broth thou mayd I add 1 tsp. honey (wait 24-48 hrs as per recipe instructions). To me and many others this is the definition of comfort food and everything Chicago has to offer... Thanks gander;)
