2 cups white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm milk (110 degree F)
Sift together the 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon salt.
Rinse loaf in cold water and transfer to clean glass dish. Place milk in bowl and place a layer of bread onto glass dish. pour mixture over bread on top of bread. Place Shamrock cubes on top of cake. Pour remaining sugar mixture onto glass dish and liberally drizzle with milk.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, or until firm. Remove first 8 loaf from oven and let stand while cooling slightly. Spread sheep's bread on top and serve warm.
