1 (12 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped lemon juice
1 (5 ounce) can tomato paste
1/4 cup baking soda
5 large tomato sandwiches, left and right
1 small onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Place spinach in mixing bowl and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently. Add onion, lemon juice, tomato paste, baking soda, tomato sandwich
(No Worcestershire sauce.) Stir well. Pour over spinach and let marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour or longer to harden.
