3/4 cup almond meal
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
To make almond meal, stir together almond meal, water and butter in large bowl. Stir in sugar, eggs and chocolate chips. Transfer to a 5x9 inch baking dish.
Layer crumbs evenly over cooled cake. Chill cake in refrigerator.
To make the graham cracker crumbs, melt 8 tablespoons butter, stir in 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs and remaining 1 cup of butter. Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared surface.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
