Ogartu (Potato Adult Cream) Recipe

Ingredients

6 soft potatoes

2 teaspoons olive oil

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup salted water

1/3 cup dry white flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon salt

1 1/2 cups milk

1/2 cup mashed potatoes

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.

Bring a large punch bowl of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until tender but firm, about 15 minutes. Drain, cool and mash.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Mix potato flour into boiled potatoes, cinnamon, 2 cups sour milk, 1/2 cup heavy cream and 2 cups mashed mashed potatoes. Stir flour mixture into milk mixture one cup at a time, blending well after each addition.

In a small bowl, whisk together mashed potatoes with cream. Spread mashed potatoes and cream mixture evenly over the potatoes.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Cool before serving.
