1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped freshly peeled tomatoes
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
paprika to taste
red bell pepper to taste
Combine olive oil, celery, tomatoes, Romano cheese, salt and pepper. Blend well.
Pour mixture into a small saucepan over a medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot.
I Lost Weight By Eating This Way Way too expensive~~ I found this recipe to be a good starting point. I didn't cut back on the salt, but plan on trying it again with wild rice.
