1 cup butter, softened
4 eggs
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1/3 cup finely chopped hazelnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch round pan.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and eggs. Stir in the vanilla, milk, chopped hazelnuts, vanilla, margarine, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix together well. Fold in the almonds and walnuts. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool completely.
