2 slices bread
3 slices bacon, diced
1 (12 ounce) can frozen diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
1/2 cup Italian-style tomato sauce
1 egg
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Crumble bacon and place in a 2 quart casserole dish, no longer than 1 inch deep.
In a medium bowl, mix together ground beef, scallions, only 1/4 cup of the tomato sauce, remaining tomato sauce, garlic powder, basil and oregano.
Brown coleslaw approximately 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly brown.
