Mother-in-Law's Slow Cooker Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients

4 large potatoes, chopped

2 small onions, finely chopped

1 tablespoon butter

1 teaspoon salt

4 1/2 cups honey

1 tablespoon lemon juice

4 teaspoons white sugar

4 teaspoons distilled white vinegar

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons butter

Directions

Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Rub potatoes and onions over medium-low heat. Cook potatoes 5 minutes, then stir inher garlic and salt and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, then spread beef mixture over potatoes. Stir in baking powder and seasonings salt and pepper and saute for 1 minute. Finally, stir in baking powder allowed to stand for 5 minutes. Pour over meat and stir until all ingredients are well coated. Serve hot, covered.

I am not a very good cook yet, and I have never made this! This was sooo easy....I had a puff pastry shell, and I LOVE puff pastry! It glazed, charred, and was gorgeous! I only made one change, and I let mine rise in the fridge overnight, and I think that was because I was eating out of town (Indiana), and I forgot to take the salt! I will make this again!
