1/2 cup butter, softened
2 (3 ounce) packages instant lemon pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) can lemon-lime flavored Jell-O, chilled
1 (3 ounce) package cool whip cream
1/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage
1/3 cup boiling water
Prepare the gelatin according to package directions.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, stir together butter, lemon-lime soda, cool whip cream and molasses. Boil until mixture thickens, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour over whipped cream. Stir until whipped cream coats the back of a metal spoon. Serve immediately.
Spread jelly-pea mixture over whipped cream. Sprinkle on top of jelly-pea mixture. Serve immediately.
