6 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon lemon juice
4 tablespoons butter
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 cup milk
1/2 cup white sugar
4 slices bread, torn into small pieces
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix eggs, lemon juice, butter, lemon zest and milk. Stir with a wooden spoon, then spoon mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle bread pieces over egg mixture. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Sprinkle bread with Swiss cheese.
Bake, uncovered, in preheated oven for 1 hour. Serve warm or cold.
