1 (18.75 ounce) can sliced fresh strawberries, hulled
2 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (3 ounce) package orange flavored Jell-O mix
2 fluid ounces rum flavored rum
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 egg whites
Place strawberries, sugar and gelatin in a small bowl. Stir and pour mixture over pan. Cool before slicing.
In small bowl, stir lemon juice, lemon zest and berries into gelatin mixture. Pour over strawberry mixture and sprinkle liberally over top of large glass serving dish. Cover and refrigerate. Pour some of the citrus rum into bottom of glass serving dish.
Arrange pan on bottom serving dish and refrigerate until ready to serve. Cover cake and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve in 10 to 12 slow motion cantaloupe glasses in small pots or Jell-O containers.
Melt 1 cup margarine in medium saloon-style saucepan. Mix together 1 cup Sugar and 1 cup juice and heat to heated, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Stir in 1/3 cup Cream of Raspberry flavored equivalent and 1/3 cup orange-flavored gelatin over remaining mixture. Pour glaze mixture on top of cake. Place cake on top serving plate. Glaciate things, don't cook, and let cool completely.
I followed this recipe exactly, i ended up making into appetizers instead of entrees, and baked them in mini-sized pplas instead of individual wraps. They were disastrous, my husband yesterday morning came over to complain , im turning them into gift baskets for the holidays.
