1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 onion, thinly sliced (optional)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon potato starch
1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 small onion, diced
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, mix brown sugar, onion, and soy sauce. Mix together chicken broth, chicken soup, onion, broccoli, celery, water, sugar, salt, pepper, oil until well blended. Fill baking dish with foil.
Bake chicken at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for approximately 1 hour, flipping once, to avoid burning the internal organs. Reduce heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 15 minutes.
Bake uncovered for 10 minutes to allow juices to drain. Refrigerate until serving time.
