1 (20 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained and sliced
4 cups white wine
2 cups fresh ginger root (optional)
1/4 cup mango preserves
In a medium saucepan, combine oranges, wine, ginger and mango preserves. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer for about 50 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat. Serve mango crumbles with fresh strawberries, if desired.
