The Flaming Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

6 yellow onions

8 large potatoes, peeled and sliced

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 (8 ounce) can sliced mushrooms

4 green onions, cut into 1 inch strips

2 tablespoons ketchup

1 (8 ounce) can chicken broth

1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Boil onions and potatoes for 10 minutes. Drain. Discard skins and peel potatoes.

In a large saucepan, cook onion, potatoes and mushrooms over medium heat until golden brown. Stir in ketchup, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring. Reduce heat to low, simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

Great recipe, but some Halloween care should be taken. I gave my wood chip dolls a dusting of Mustard powder before they were cut and sealed. Camphor isn't required but I added it because I don't like petrol and instead of clove, I added pepper.
