Chocolate Cherry Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.75 ounce) package yellow cake mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 1/2 cups banana puree

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple juice

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

1 (8 ounce) can mint chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 (8 inch) round pans.

In a large bowl, beat cake mix until well blended. Beat in nonfat milk. Stir in instant pudding mix and pudding mix. Mix in bananas puree and crushed pineapple juice. Stir in vanilla pudding mix and mint chocolate chips. Pour into prepared pans.

Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Mix chocolate chips with the 1 cup of fruit to make a glaze. Allow to cool for a few moments, then carefully spread glaze over cooled cake.
