1/2 cup poppy seeds
3 tablespoons cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon dried lentils
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup hot water
In a small bowl, mix poppy seeds, cayenne pepper, basil, paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes, lentils, sage, thyme, salt, ground black pepper, and hot water. Cover, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
