2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (4 pound) filet-fish, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, peeled and halved
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 1/4 teaspoons allspice
1 1/4 teaspoons paprika
Brown steak in skillet over medium heat. Tear into 1/2 inch cubes and place in a large bowl. Pour lemon juice over steak and toss to coat. Season with allspice, paprika and salt-free seasoning as desired.
Grill over medium heat, turning and basting with lemon juice for 5 minutes.
Remove fish from juices by flushing with cold water. Remove fish from juices and keep liquid until cool enough to handle.
Add fish to steaks, toss, and coat well with cooking spray. Place steaks on flat surface. Brush with lemon juice. Allow steaks to marinate in juices for 1 hour or longer.
This is superbly easy to make and tastes wonderful! The right amount of sweetness and cloying aftertaste. My husband loved it and stopped trying too.
