I submitted this recipe many years ago as an experiment when I was learning about the site. It is great for beginners and intermediate cooks. I had to make some changes. I used half of a large yellow onion and about two cloves of garlic. I used a couple of tbsps of McCormick's Chipotle Chile Pepper powder and about three quarters of a cup of Frank's. I also used a couple of tbsps of Basil powder. I used a couple of tbsps of Fleischmann's Cilantro leaves. I upped the heat to a medium and added a couple of grinds of my own. I did not have tomatillos, so that was nice. As for the Chilies, I didn't have either ingredient, but was happy that way. Apparently my husband had chilies, too--wonde
