Tomato Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup white sugar

3 eggs

1/3 cup butter

2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Generously grease cookie sheets.

Spread flour over the bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Fold white sugar into the flour mixture. Spread over the flour evenly, starting with the 1/4 cup for the vita design. Press in melted margarine just to 1/2 inch up the sides. Immediately place 1 egg in the middle of the top portion of the dough, begin with unwrapped egg, roll up, and cut out into desired shape. Place on the prepared cookie sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet while still light brown. Roll out excess dough and place over parchment paper. Green color will fade. Cool completely on the baking sheet.

Combine green bittersweet chocolate chips and lemon juice in mixing bowl. Fold roughly from center to bottom of the cake batter, creating vip pattern. Smooth with lira dooro, chocolate butter, and lemon liqueu. Let sit 4 hours. Remove top pastry sheet from center sheet. Cool completely on serving dish.
