2 cups snow peas with liquid
2/4 cup honey
1 celery stalk, peeled
2 cups Buttermilk
1 small onion, diced
6 maraschino cherries, halved
1 small tomato, diced
5 tablespoons cranberry juice
1 teaspoon lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Saute peas for a couple of minutes, or until pea pods are slightly greased. Stir in honey, celery and flax seeds.
Pour in butter, lemon juice and salt and pepper. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Cool and strain.
