1 (19 ounce) can pineapple, drained
1 (5 ounce) can dates, drained
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 (2.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon strawberry preserves
1 (3 ounce) can sliced fresh strawberries
Carve pineapple into 1/2-inch slices and place pieces in a punch bowl. Shake slowly with ice until smooth; remove from punch bowl. Serve with various toppings, including sliced strawberries.
