Chocolate Pecan Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package white cake mix

1 (3.5 ounce) package instant chocolate pudding mix

108 chocolate walnuts, halves removed

3/4 cup butter, melted

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup white vinegar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To Make Filling: In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, walnuts, and melted butter. Beat until smooth. Gradually stir in white sugar, vinegar and vanilla extract, then stir in the walnuts. Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned. Allow to cool on baking sheet for 4 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

I made this to use up chicken in a Chinese restaurant. The chicken was very tender and moist. The sauce was very thin, and came out beautifully. I will make this time and time again.
