1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple, juice reserved
1 (8 ounce) package vanilla flavored Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust
1/2 cup butter
4 cups banana, peeled, head trimmed and sliced
In a medium bowl, mix pineapple juice, boiling water, oil, banana and orange zest. Mix until fluid; spread pie filling over filling. Chill in refrigerator. Refrigerate any remaining juice, and refrigerate before serving.
