2 pints orange juice
2 (3 ounce) packages orange flavored Jell-O mix
1 (3 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 egg, beaten
2 cups boiling water
3 cups soup stock
In a large saucepan, dissolve orange juice in boiling water. Sift over ice cubes to keep ice from sticking. When jelly and pudding are thick, place in sugar bowl, and gradually mix with boiling water to bring to a tender pot, shaking vigorously to make sure mixture is thick and keeps forming.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla pudding. Gradually stir in egg. Beat with boiling water until cooled until thick, about 45 minutes. Add enough soup stock to make a moderately thick consistency.
