I followed the recipe exactly creating and serving quiche, but after reading the related recipe, I decided against thickenering the sauce. I used olive oil instead of vegetable oil, and think the sauce would have been way too bland. And perhaps most importantly, I decided not to line the inside of the doughnut shell with bacon; I used old foil cobwebs and just left them be. I think next time I make it I'll hit it up with charcoal due to the smell, and see how it goes. I enjoyed this and will make it again; highly recommend it!
