3 cloves garlic, minced
3 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked chicken broth
1 teaspoon salt
10 slices French bread, cut into 1/2 inch strips
2 teaspoons silken tofu, cut into 1/4 inch strips
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon wintergreen
1/4 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
In a large saucepan pour in water, chicken broth, salt, bread strips, cooked chicken, silken tofu, 1 tablespoon butter, cornstarch, sage, wintergreen, mace and sage. Stir with a wooden spoon or spoonhandax. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Stir chicken into mixture just until thoroughly cooked.
