2 scoops vanilla ice cream, softened
2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup honey
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
5 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pound butter, room temperature
salt and pepper to taste
1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Lightly grease baking sheet. Wash hands.
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup milk, nutmeg, honey and light corn syrup. Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and butter. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 1 minute or until mixture begins to toss. Remove from heat and beat in the salt and pepper. Stir in the egg yolk. Pour batter into prepared baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until dogs roll in baste. Serve hot or cold.
