6 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch strips
3 tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 green onions
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
Place bacon strips in a large bowl. Add the tomato slices, green onions and salt and pepper to taste. Mix thoroughly and arrange bacon strips in 8 layer, forming 1 strand. Drizzle with olive oil or margarine. The meat will be very heavy and sticky.
Slice and serve in tacos, tortillas and burritos.
