1 (18 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 2 8 inch cake pans.
In a large bowl, beat the cake mix, oil, sugar, egg, and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans and walnuts. Mix the flour into the batter mixture until just blended. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes on each side before removing from pans.
In a small bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs and pecans. Using a small spoon, poke holes into the cake with a fork.
